Biography: Justine Westhead

Justine Westhead is a graduate of Montclair University, Montclair, New Jersey, U S A. She studied piano with the English pianist and composer, Cecily Lambert Knechtel of the Julliard School in New York for six years, and art with Emily Hollister, associate of the Chicago Latin School and The Chicago Art Institute. She divides her time throughout the year among the countries in which she paints and writes – England, when she is in Isleworth (Greater London); France, when she is on the coast of Normandy in La Chapelle sur Dun; the U.S.A., where she paints the Pacific northwest in and around Portland, Oregon, the east coast in New Vernon, New Jersey, Cape Cod, Massachusetts and Lewes, Delaware. Her paintings are on permanent exhibit in France and the U.S.A. at Le Resto in Madison, New Jersey http://www.restonj.com/ Paintings by Justine Westhead have been exhibited at the Louvre in Paris with the Societe National des Beaux Arts of France at their annual salon since 2001.
